Are you ready to turn your world upside down? Whether you’re brand new to inversions or looking to refine your practice, this workshop will provide the essential techniques, strength-building exercises, and alignment principles needed to safely and confidently explore these challenging poses.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Headstands (Sirsasana): We’ll start by breaking down the essential components of headstands, focusing on proper alignment, neck safety, and core engagement. Through preparatory drills and exercises, you’ll learn how to distribute your weight evenly and find stability while upside down. We’ll explore various headstand entries, such as tripod and supported headstand, to help you discover what feels best for your body.

  • Handstands (Adho Mukha Vrksasana): Moving into handstands, we will emphasize shoulder strength, wrist mobility, and core stability. You’ll practice controlled kick-ups, wall-supported variations, and alignment drills to build strength and confidence. Special attention will be given to overcoming fear, finding balance, and developing awareness of your body in space.

  • Breath & Focus: Inversions require not just physical strength but also mental focus and breath control. Throughout the workshop, we will explore breathing techniques and mindful approaches that help you stay calm and centered while practicing inversions.
